For this fundraiser, bags of coffee grounds or beans are available for purchase online. A portion of the proceeds go toward program enhancements for Lakeview students. Please note that June 14, 2017 was the last hot lunch of the 2016-2017 school year. We look forward to offering pitas and pizza for sale again starting in fall 2017. If you have time to help with handing out of pizza, we could certainly use more volunteers next year! Please contact chair@lakeviewschoolcouncil.ca to express your interest.
June 15, 2017 was the last scheduled popcorn day, but hold onto your toonies! We still have some stock and may have a few upcoming opportunities to purchase popcorn on a cash basis.
If any of you coffee fanatics out there would like to stock up on BRIDGEHEAD coffee before the summer break please place your order online by end of day Wednesday June 14. Your order will be sent home late next week via backpack express.

Ordering for Term 2 pizza & pita pit lunch days is now open on Council’s online ordering system. Popcorn can also be ordered for the term. The order deadline is December 8th. Term 2 begins December 14th, 2016, and runs until March 23rd, 2017. A reminder letter will be sent home with students this week. Learn more about the lunch program on our Fundraising page.
Hello Lakeview families! We have an exciting new fundraiser for you. As always, participation is completely optional. We are trying out a new coffee provider this year. I’m sure you’ve all heard of BRIDGEHEAD, our local coffeehouse and roastery. BRIDGEHEAD offers fairly-traded, organic and shade-grown coffees from small-scale farmers. We will be offering four of their more popular coffee blends, including a decaffeinated coffee, as well as some teas. You can place your order on hotlunches.net and pre-order for the full term. We will be announcing some holiday offerings from BRIDGEHEAD by the end of November.
The coffee will be packaged in bags weighing 12oz|340g and will cost $13/package. You can choose to have it ground or leave it in whole bean format. A more complete description of these blends can be found on the BRIDGEHEAD website.
The BRIDGEHEAD Flyer will be coming home with your child this week and is due back on Wednesday November 16.
Pizza Pizza, Pita Pit and Kernels Popcorn online ordering is now open. A letter will be coming home with students advising how to place your online order for Council’s lunch and snack programs. The letter is also available here (PDF). Pizza Pizza Days and Pita Pit Days will take place on alternating Wednesdays this year, starting October 5th. Popcorn days will be every other Thursday, starting October 13th. The deadline for online orders for Term 1 (October to December) is September 29th.
