“Tell Them from Me” Survey Results

Lakeview P.S. students (Gr. 4 & 5) participated in this Board-wide survey about school safety, bullying and exclusion. Read through the results and talk to your children about them. A safe school environment is critical for students’ learning and well-being. Schools are safer when school staff, students, parents and community agencies work together to prevent bullying and exclusion. Lakeview has put a ‘safe school plan’ into place. If you would like to know more or have any input, please contact the Principal, Diane Cousineau (613.828.8077).

REMINDER: Don’t forget to complete the TELL THEM FROM ME Survey

The Ottawa Carleton District School Board is offering the opportunity for parents to complete this survey about our school. It is your chance to express your opinions (anonymously) on important school issues such as – levels of homework, communications between parents & teachers, the safety of the school environment, and it also has a blank section for your specific comments.
It is easy to complete – just log-in at: www.tellthemfromme.com.
The user name is: LPS10870 and the password is: parent.
The parent survey will be available until: Friday, March 28, 2014.

OSTA Proposed School Time Changes – No Change for Lakeview

Please note that the proposed changes to school bell times in the Ottawa area do not apply to Lakeview’s start/finish times. There are no proposed changes to our school’s start/finish times. Lakeview’s school day will continue to start at 8:30 am and finish at 3:00 pm.

Here’s a related article that lists the schools that may be affected by this change by the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA).
