Lakeview P.S. students (Gr. 4 & 5) participated in this Board-wide survey about school safety, bullying and exclusion. Read through the results and talk to your children about them. A safe school environment is critical for students’ learning and well-being. Schools are safer when school staff, students, parents and community agencies work together to prevent bullying and exclusion. Lakeview has put a ‘safe school plan’ into place. If you would like to know more or have any input, please contact the Principal, Diane Cousineau (613.828.8077).

It is easy to complete – just log-in at: www.tellthemfromme.com.
The user name is: LPS10870 and the password is: parent.
The parent survey will be available until: Friday, March 28, 2014.
Lakeview shows its olympic spirit in a beautiful display at the front of the school.
Please note that the proposed changes to school bell times in the Ottawa area do not apply to Lakeview’s start/finish times. There are no proposed changes to our school’s start/finish times. Lakeview’s school day will continue to start at 8:30 am and finish at 3:00 pm.
You can see the draft report of proposed bell time changes in case you want to verify Lakeview’s information and any other schools of interest. For example, D. Aubrey Moodie’s start time is proposed to change from 9:30 am to 9:15 am (15 minutes earlier).
Here’s a related article that lists the schools that may be affected by this change by the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA).
