Hot Lunches and Popcorn

pizza slicePlease note that June 14, 2017 was the last hot lunch of the 2016-2017 school year. We look forward to offering pitas and pizza for sale again starting in fall 2017. If you have time to help with handing out of pizza, we could certainly use more volunteers next year! Please contact chair@lakeviewschoolcouncil.ca to express your interest.

June 15, 2017 was the last scheduled popcorn day, but hold onto your toonies! We still have some stock and may have a few upcoming opportunities to purchase popcorn on a cash basis.

2016/2017 lunch and snack programs are coming!

Mark your calendar and take a break from packing those lunches!

Pizza Pizza, Pita Pit and Kernels Popcorn online ordering is now open. A letter will be coming home with students advising how to place your online order for Council’s lunch and snack programs. The letter is also available here (PDF). Pizza Pizza Days and Pita Pit Days will take place on alternating Wednesdays this year, starting October 5th. Popcorn days will be every other Thursday, starting October 13th. The deadline for online orders for Term 1 (October to December) is September 29th. See all the upcoming dates on the Council Calendar.

Pizza Day Servers needed!

Council is urgently looking for some parents who can help serve pizza to classrooms on Pizza Days, which take place every second Tuesday (starting Tuesday May 10) from 10:15 to 10:45 am.  Your help would be needed until the end of the school year. Please consider if you can spare some time to volunteer. Contact us as soon as possible at: lakeviewhotlunches@gmail.com

REMINDER: Spring Lunch Orders Due

Hello Parents! If you would like to place an order for school lunches for your child please take note that next week (Tuesday March 8) is the deadline for parents to place their orders for the final term of our lunch programs (pizza and pita wrap days).

The next deadline for placing an order for our delicious organic fair trade Equator Coffee is March 23. You can pre-order online for the remainder of the school year at any time.
