Thank you to all the parents that have participated in our latest School Council events. For the Equator Coffee fundraiser we received $905 in orders, giving the school a profit of $273.63. For the School clothing fundraiser, 75 items of clothing were ordered, giving the school a profit of about $225.
Please take our one-minute coffee survey. We would like to know if there is interest among Lakeview families for Council to continue our coffee fundraiser. For this fundraiser, bags of coffee grounds or beans are available for purchase online. A portion of the proceeds go toward program enhancements for Lakeview students. Take the survey now (it only takes one minute!)
If any of you coffee fanatics out there would like to stock up on BRIDGEHEAD coffee before the summer break please place your order online by end of day Wednesday June 14. Your order will be sent home late next week via backpack express.

Hello Lakeview families! We have an exciting new fundraiser for you. As always, participation is completely optional. We are trying out a new coffee provider this year. I’m sure you’ve all heard of BRIDGEHEAD, our local coffeehouse and roastery. BRIDGEHEAD offers fairly-traded, organic and shade-grown coffees from small-scale farmers. We will be offering four of their more popular coffee blends, including a decaffeinated coffee, as well as some teas. You can place your order on hotlunches.net and pre-order for the full term. We will be announcing some holiday offerings from BRIDGEHEAD by the end of November.
The coffee will be packaged in bags weighing 12oz|340g and will cost $13/package. You can choose to have it ground or leave it in whole bean format. A more complete description of these blends can be found on the BRIDGEHEAD website.
The BRIDGEHEAD Flyer will be coming home with your child this week and is due back on Wednesday November 16.
