Thank you to all the parents that have participated in our latest School Council events. For the Equator Coffee fundraiser we received $905 in orders, giving the school a profit of $273.63. For the School clothing fundraiser, 75 items of clothing were ordered, giving the school a profit of about $225.

Calling all coffee lovers! Last chance to order Equator Coffee before summer break. We normally don`t place the first order of the school year until October. If you would like to order coffee please do so by June 15 either online through hotlunches or by printing the order form and sending in to the school with payment.

Hello Parents! If you would like to place an order for school lunches for your child please take note that next week (Tuesday March 8) is the deadline for parents to place their orders for the final term of our lunch programs (pizza and pita wrap days).
The next deadline for placing an order for our delicious organic fair trade Equator Coffee is March 23. You can pre-order online for the remainder of the school year at any time.

Walk to school with us on Lakeview’s 2nd Winter Walk Day! As part of Lakeview’s Active Transportation initiative, we are asking students and families to walk to school on the morning of February 10! Walk all or even part of the way. Walkers will be greeted at school by Phiz, the Beaver, Ottawa Public Health’s mascot and receive fun give-aways. For our parents and caregivers, Council will be offering free Equator Organic coffee to warm you up! Help support physical activity, reduce carbon dioxide emissions and reduce traffic around our school by Walking to School!
Equator Coffee is once again offering holiday baskets for the coffee lover(s) in your life! If you would like to order one (or more) baskets, time is of the essence. Orders must be placed by 9PM on Wednesday December 9. Pick up in Bells Corners on Wednesday December 16 (or later) or they can be dropped off at Lakeview on Thursday December 17.
