Volunteers needed for Mayfair

Planning for Mayfair, our biggest activity of the year is in full swing and we need your help!

We have many great Lead Volunteers, but we are in need of some additional help in a few key areas:

    • Food Organization (coordinate with different vendors/volunteers, organize purchase and pickup/delivery of food/beverages)
    • Book Fair (organize set up and tear down, coordinate volunteers)
    • Online Auction (organize distribution of items to winners)
    • Bike Parade (coordinate volunteers to set up and attend road barricades)

Mayfair cannot happen without these essential lead volunteers.

New volunteers don’t need to start from scratch as the parents who coordinated these events last year can provide all the necessary information.

Interested? Questions? Please email Chair@lakeviewschoolcouncil.ca.

Mayfair was a great success! Thank you!

It was a beautiful, sunny day and everyone enjoyed the activities, food, and entertainment. And we raised over $6000 for Lakeview! These funds will go towards books for the library, outdoor equipment, and arts and sciences programs in the school.

We are very grateful to everyone who attended Mayfair as well as our many volunteers, donors and sponsors who made the day possible. Thank you for supporting Lakeview!

Enjoy these photos from the day (thanks to Bill Hodgins!):

Mayfair Online Auction is now open!

NEW THIS YEAR! Instead of a prize raffle, we are running an online auction as part of our Mayfair fundraiser. Bid on fantastic items and services donated by local businesses. Tell your friends and family! New items added daily!

Bidding is open from May 1st to May 11th.

Here are just some of the fantastic items up for auction:

Check out the rest of the auction and start bidding!

Join us at Mayfair on Saturday, May 11th, where many of the auction items will be on display.

All proceeds go to Lakeview programs.

Council meeting/Mayfair planning: Tues. March 5th

Our next Council meeting will focus on planning Mayfair! Mayfair is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th, and is a wonderful event that brings Lakeview families and the community together for a day of fun and entertainment. It is also our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Mayfair 2018 was a day of fun for the community!

Thanks to everyone who supported and attended Lakeview’s 25th annual Mayfair on Saturday. It was a day full of fun for the community and fundraising for Lakeview with fabulous student performances, yummy treats, parrots, prizes, and flying pies!

Many thanks to our very generous sponsors: Tunis Shriners, Value Village, Loblaws, Ralph & Sons Diner, FreshCo., and FunHaven.
